The Greater Norristown Art League (GNAL) is hosting their 3rd annual art trail this weekend. During this time, the community is invited to visit these artists to see how they operate, what their studio looks like, and learn about the artists themselves. This is a unique way of viewing and getting acquainted with local artists who open their space to the public for greater awareness of the creative environment in our community. It showcases a variety of artists with many diverse skills and talents!
Conicelli is helping sponsor the event and invites everyone in the area to come check out this amazing experience. The GNAL has produced a brochure to help get started on the trail. The brochure contains a brief bio of each artist, as well as his or her contact information and easy-to-follow directions to each studio. These brochures with maps are available on GNAL’s website, www.gnal.org. Before and during the event they will be available at league headquarters, 800 W. Germantown Pike, East Norriton.
Eleven artists are participating in the trail. Artworks range from bronze, plaster and wood worked and shaped in a foundry to pencil and oil works, from precious contemporary and conceptual jewelry to pastels and other types.
Greater Norristown Art League’s Art Trail takes place:Saturday, April 28, and Sunday, April 29-10 a.m. 5 p.m.
