This Wednesday, April 18th, 2012, is the beginning of the
Norristown Bicentennial Carnival. The carnival is being held at the Kennedy-Kenrick High School grounds from April 18th to April 21st. There will be games, rides, games of chance, food, and a dunk tank.

6 pm - 10 pm
Friday, April 20th
6 pm-10 pm
Saturday, April 21st
2 pm-10 pm
There will be a $20 ride special during “Family Night” which will be held Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m. and “Family Afternoon” will be held Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. All proceeds go to benefit the year long Bicentennial Celebration.

“The goal of the carnival is to provide fun activities for children to celebrate Norristown’s 200 years,” said Councilwoman Cathy Lawrence, the Bicentennial Committee chairwoman, “and raise money for the upcoming bicentennial events from May to September.”
