Conicelli Hyundai Continues to Participate in Hyundai's Hope On Wheels Cancer Fundraiser

For more than ten years, Hyundai and its dealers have been committed to fighting pediatric cancer. What began in 1998 as a local initiative supported by New England-area Hyundai dealers to raise funds for the Jimmy Fund at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has grown into a nationwide program supported by all of Hyundai’s 780 dealers.
Since 2004, Hyundai Hope on Wheels has donated more than $12 million to institutions nationwide to help kids fight cancer. The Hope on Wheels Medical Advisory Board is made up of leaders in cancer research treatment, including Dr. Leonard Sender, Dr. David Poplack and Dr. Dan Wechsler, and has provided essential guidance in the development of the Hope on Wheels program.

This year, the Hope on Wheels Tour will travel to children’s hospitals across the country and donate $1.3 million to support further training and study for doctors involved in pediatric cancer research. Hope on Wheels has designated these medical professionals as Hope on Wheels Scholars.
The 2009 Hope on Wheels Tour will hold ceremonial donation events at pediatric cancer research institutions across the country from April through September. Each event will celebrate children’s lives and treatment milestones by capturing their colorful handprints on a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Conicelli Hyundai will donate a certain amount of money based on the amount of cars sold. You can join Conicelli Hyundai and support the search for a cure by making a donation to Hope in Wheels, click here to donate online today.
