The Philadelphia Auto Show Begins Tonight with the "Black Tie Tailgate Preview Gala"

The Philadelphia International Auto Show starts tonight with the "Black Tie Tailgate Preview Gala" and continues until February 7 at The Pennsylvania Convention Center (PCC). The Auto Show returns with a 550,000 square-foot display floor showcasing a range of vehicles including pre-production models, concepts, hybrids, exotics and antiques from all around the world. A key feature of this year’s Philadelphia International Auto Show is the expansion of DUB Live! This consists of a 35,000 square-foot display of some of the hottest customized rides and celebrity vehicles sponsored by DUB magazine.

“This is the 108th Philadelphia Auto Show and we are particularly thrilled with the caliber of this year’s event,” said Dominic M. Conicelli, chairman of the 2010 Philadelphia International Auto Show and president of Conicelli Autoplex. “It’s no secret that 2009 was a historic year for the automotive industry, and auto shows across the country were faced with new challenges. However, to our satisfaction and delight, we are ecstatic to deliver another world-class auto show to the city of Philadelphia. Nearly every manufacturer will be back on the display floor and new features will also be present!”

In 2009, nearly 90 percent of attendees in the market for a new vehicle reported that visiting the Auto Show influenced their next purchasing decision, according to conducted surveys. In addition, over the last two decades, the ADAGP has been able to donate more than $4 million to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, thanks to the success of the Auto Show and its affiliated ADAGP activities. For the 2010 event, the ADAGP will proudly continue its tradition of donating one dollar for every Auto Show ticket sold to the Hospital through its Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation.
