Conicelli Sponsors Norristown's Bicentennial Celebration

Norristown celebrates 200 years of history in 2012 with a spectacular year-long birthday party, with events from March through the end of September. Starting in 2010, a dedicated crew of elected and community leaders have been working to plan the events and raise donations to make the celebration possible.

Conicelli is a proud sponsor of the Norristown Bicentennial and the events planned out for the celebration this year. Conicelli has donated $25,000 to help fund all the events being held.

These events will show the success, change, and accomplishments that Norristown and its fellow Norristonians have provided for so many years. The celebration kicks of on Saturday, March 31, with a family fun day hosted at Elmwood Park. Conicelli is asking everyone to come out to support the bicentennial and have some fun experiencing what Norristown has to offer.

•5/5 Norristown Arts Hill Festival at 10am - 5pm

•5/12 International Festival on West Marshall Street

•5/19 Bike race at Elmwood Park

•6/19 Juneteenth day

•6/23 Gospel Concert at Elmwood Park Band Shell

•7/4 4th of July Parade parade begins at 10am

•8/4 Bocce tournament

•9/15 Mexican Independence Day celebration

•9/29 PA State Fireman's convention & parade
