The Nissan 370Z is the "2009 Highest Ranked Compact Premium Sporty Car in Initial Quality" for J.D. Power and Associates

The J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Study (IQS) serves as the industry benchmark for new-vehicle quality measured at 90 days of ownership. J.D. Power and Associates says: "Initial quality has been shown over the years to be an excellent predictor of long-term durability..."
The Nissan Z received the lowest number of problems per 100 vehicles among compact premium sporty cars in the proprietary J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Initial Quality StudySM. Study based on responses from 80,930 new-vehicle owners, measuring 245 models and measures opinions after 90 days of ownership.
