Conicelli Sponsors Largest Dodgeball Game in Philadelphia EVER!!!!

On  April 2nd, 2011 Local non-profit organization, Life Unchained, in collaboration with the Philly Wings, will hold the Biggest Dodgeball Game EVER in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center.  The goal is to have a game of 1,000 players — 500 players on 500 players — and proceeds from the event will benefit Life Unchained’s charitable efforts locally.  If this event gains steam, there’s a large possibility of going after the world record of 1,800 players.  Interest for the event has been considerable, with nearly 500 players having already signed up online, virally spreading interest through word of mouth to friends and family.
Conicelli jumped on board and decided to do cross-advertising for this event.  For every fan that gets added to Conicelli Autoplex on Facebook in the month of February and March, Conicelli will donate a dollar per fan added up to $1,000 to Life Unchained on April 2nd.
“There’s never been an event quite like this in Philadelphia, and we hope to put Philly on the dodgeball map by hosting this one-of-a-kind event.”, says Executive Director of Life Unchained, Pat Dobslow.
Life Unchained is a relatively new organization in the community and is based in East Norriton, Pa. The mission of Life Unchained is to raise funds for first-time, altruistic dream projects in the area.  Over its three years in existence, they have raised over $100,000 for local efforts.
