Conicelli Hyundai Continues to Participate in Hyundai's Hope On Wheels Cancer Fundraiser

For more than ten years, Hyundai and its dealers have been committed to fighting pediatric cancer. What began in 1998 as a local initiative supported by New England-area Hyundai dealers to raise funds for the Jimmy Fund at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has grown into a nationwide program supported by all of Hyundai’s 780 dealers.
Since 2004, Hyundai Hope on Wheels has donated more than $12 million to institutions nationwide to help kids fight cancer. The Hope on Wheels Medical Advisory Board is made up of leaders in cancer research treatment, including Dr. Leonard Sender, Dr. David Poplack and Dr. Dan Wechsler, and has provided essential guidance in the development of the Hope on Wheels program.

This year, the Hope on Wheels Tour will travel to children’s hospitals across the country and donate $1.3 million to support further training and study for doctors involved in pediatric cancer research. Hope on Wheels has designated these medical professionals as Hope on Wheels Scholars.
The 2009 Hope on Wheels Tour will hold ceremonial donation events at pediatric cancer research institutions across the country from April through September. Each event will celebrate children’s lives and treatment milestones by capturing their colorful handprints on a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Conicelli Hyundai will donate a certain amount of money based on the amount of cars sold. You can join Conicelli Hyundai and support the search for a cure by making a donation to Hope in Wheels, click here to donate online today.

Ducati is Known to Produce Purebreds, But This Bike is a MONSTER!!!

Ducati is known for producing purebreds, but this bike is an absolute MONSTER!!! Ducati's '05 Monster 800 (Mostro II in Italian) is a 395 lb. beast with 3.7 gal. tank and a liquid cooled engine. Only 5335 miles on it!! It has a four-valve air-cooled V-twin that combines the bigger model's bling-factor with a softer chassis package. Ducati regards this bike as more of an entry-level machine for younger riders and middle-agers returning to motorcycling. It is best known for its L-twin Desmodromic valve engines (aka 90 degree V-Twin) and tubular steel trellis chassis.

We’re placing this on ebay with a reserve of $4200. Please call Michael Hammond at 610-828-1400 ext. 1128 or email at Mikeh@conicelliautoplex.com if you are interested in giving an offer or have any questions!!

$100 AMEX Gift Card To Cherie Killcrece for Winning Conicelli's Creative Cupid Contest

The Conicelli Family hopes that everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day yesterday!  We want to thank everyone that submitted on Conicelli's Wall for the Concielli's Creative Cupid Contest" and all the private emails that was sent in as well.  It was a tough decision, but we decided to pick Cherie Killcrece's story as the winner.  Congratulations Cherie and we will contact you to pick up the $100 American Express Card Conicelli Honda.

Check our Cherie's winning story below:

Being in a long distance relationship isn’t the easiest thing in the world, but sometimes, I guess, that is when you become the most creative.
I’m originally from Pittsburgh, my boyfriend and I were high school sweethearts, and we ended up applying to colleges before we even started to date….little to say, I ended up at Bloomsburg University and he ended up at the University of Maryland. The distance didn’t seem to play much of a toll, except when we both planned on going home to Pittsburgh for Valentine’s Day. He said he had to stay in Maryland and study for a huge exam he had on Monday, and I was not a happy camper.
After packing up all of my stuff and getting ready to head home with a friend, my friend walked in with her bags in one hand and in the other hand a long stem red rose, and a note tied to the stem.

The note read “Happy Valentine’s Day weekend sweetie…follow the hints to find your present, first stop: this is the exit we would take to see the little league championships. Check the exit sign. Be careful my love!”.
Surprisingly, the first stop, there was an exit sign and stuck to it with tape was another rose, and another note. Some stops were just exit signs, some were at restaurants and of course some were at random gas stations with random strangers holding long stem roses with notes and a reason of why “he” loved me.
256 miles, 2 dozen roses, 24 notes, 24 different locations and 15 strangers later, I ended up arriving at my house, with a note taped to the door: “There is nothing in this world….” And as I opened the door….there he was, with a note around his neck “that could keep me from being with you.”

Funny thing…he was actually at most of the locations I stopped at to watch my reaction!

Scion tC Release of Series 6.0 is Coming Soon!!!

Last year, Scion offered up 2,000 tC Release Series 5.0 models.  This year, the new tC Release Series 6.0 will be almost twice as rare, with just 1,100 such models planned for production. Better get yourself in line now!!
This is probably the hottest color that I have ever seen for a car!   It comes painted up in Speedway Blue, which looks even more likChrysler's classic B5 Blue in person than it does in pictures, along with some very Challenger-esque flat black stripes.  tC Series 6.0 has the exact 161-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine as all the other tCs sharing roadways.
The 200-watt Alpine audio system with iPod/USB jack and 4.3-inch GPS touch screen do come standard for the car's $18,620 (with a stick, or $19,420 with an automatic) asking price.
Comment below and let us know what you think of this car.  Please call Michael Hammond at 610-828-1400 ext 1128 for more info or information on how to pre-order this car.  If you are a Scion car enthusiast, and looking to buy one of these Scion tC Series 6.0, I would highly suggest calling and getting on the list for this car to be held to have a chance of getting your hands on one!

Nissan’s About to Turn Over a New LEAF in the History of Automobiles!!

The world is about to get its first practical all-electric car. It’s from Nissan, and it’s called the LEAF. This new automobile shouldn’t be confused with a hybrid, the LEAF is a 100% electric vehicle that burns zero gas and produces zero emissions.

Nissan engineers have been working hard, and have developed state-of-the-art lithium-ion batteries that give the LEAF a range of 100 miles on a single charge. The vast majority of Americans travel less than that in a single day. Which means the LEAF has enough range for most of us to get to work and back, drop the kids off for football practice, run to the mall, pick the kids up and then return home, with miles to spare!

Leaf has 5 doors and seats 5 passengers and a lot of cargo space. It’s equipped with advanced air bags, premium radio and a navigation system. Torque is available the moment you press the pedal, and the LEAF is capable of speeds of up to 90 mph. It’s an attractive car with a fresh, distinctive look. What's more, this is an electric car wearing the Nissan badge. Nissan quality should allay any concerns over reliability — something of a question mark in past electric cars.

Believe it or not, Nissan promises the LEAF will have a sticker price comparable to equivalent gas-powered vehicles. Add in all the money you won’t be spending on gas — plus legendary Nissan quality — and the new LEAF promises to be a practical, affordable and environmentally friendly alternative to both hybrids and traditional gas-powered cars.

Awards:

- Time magazine called the Nissan Leaf one of the 50 best inventions of 2009.

- 2010 Green Car Vision Award by the Green Car Journal at the Washington Auto Show.

Post comments below on what you think about this upcoming battery powered Nissan car!

Conicelli Nissan Awarded NMAC's #1 Dealership in Pennsylvania!!

Senior Financial Service Manager for Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation, Frank Muldowney, presented Conicelli Nissan with the NMAC #1 Dealership in Pennsylvania Award for the 2009 Calendar year this afternoon. This award was given to the Dealership for manufacturer loyalty for the most booked retail and lease contracts.

The question always comes up if which is better: leasing or financing. There is no correct answer; it is what is beneficial for your personal financial situation and your lifestyle. I added a quick summary of the benefits associated with both leasing and financing. Please take the time to check read the information below so that you will have a better understanding when you are in the market to purchase a vehicle.

Nissan helps you make your car-buying dream a reality. SignaturePURCHASE terms range from 12—72 months and are available for new and pre-owned Nissans, as well as other pre-owned vehicles less than six years old.

Here are just a few benefits of financing the purchase of your new car with Nissan's SignaturePURCHASE:
• Build equity.
• Drive as many miles as you want.
• Travel with kids, pets, over gravel roads, and into ding- and dent-prone parking lots without worrying  about wear-and-use charges.
• Carry lower limits for auto insurance than with a lease. (See your insurer for actual quotes.)
• Customize your vehicle (though this may invalidate portions of your warranty).
• Sell, trade, or transfer title whenever you want.

Nissan's SignatureLEASE® offers more choices than your average lease program. Terms range from 24—60 months, with 12-month terms available upon request.

Remember, by leasing a vehicle, you can usually:
• Get a bigger, better-equipped car than you could afford to purchase.
• Enjoy a new car every few years.
• Pay only for the portion of the car's life that you use (which means a lower monthly payment).
• Receive tax benefits if used for business (depending on the lease, state, and tax laws).
• Invest any savings in appreciating assets (such as stocks, bonds, etc.).
• Spread applicable sales tax across monthly payments (varies by state).
• Enjoy end-of-lease options: you can buy the car, lease another vehicle, or explore other choices.

For more info, please check out Conicelli Nissan's Website or Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation.
